I'm watching the basketball game on TV right now......I know, I know, what an awful fan I am - missing a home game??? But I'm doing it in order to be responsible and get stuff done while I'm enjoying the game....I just did bills, called Maintenance to report our broken toilet handle (we've learned to flush the toilet manually....we ain't no helpless girly girls in this apartment, ok), and I've been doing some reading for class....oh so much reading I have to do....seriously, I think I have more books and course packets this semester than ever before....plus articles on blackboard and electronic reserves! geez.
Anyway, I would just like to comment no the game really quickly: 1. Why didn't we play like this against OU and A&M? 2. Did you see that half time shot??? ABSOLUTELY AMAZING....too bad it didn't count. 3. I was quite amused at the commentator's amazement when Klotz actually beat some other guy down the court....he's big and he can run???? 4. THANK GOD WE ARE WINNING.
Ok, so here's some updates on the excitement of my past week...
-my first week was sooo completely hectic because I had to change my schedule like 10 times and found out I was 2 hours short of graduating and had to visit my advisor twice (I think I'd only been twice my entire college career before that)
-I spent far too much time working this weekend
-I got into the Maymester in Spain!!! So, that means I get to go to Spain for 4 weeks in June and still graduate in May.
-I am registered for 20 hours this semester...but 3 of those are my Spain class, so I'm really only taking 17 during the semester....but still 17 hours of classes a week plus 20 hours of work is definitely not a light schedule.
-I got Adam's birthday present which I am SUPER excited about...but I can't put it on here because he can't know....although he probably doesn't read this anyway, although he should, cause he is my best friend forever and always .
-I spent an hour the other night with Josh helping some random 15 year old girl who's wheel fell off her car in the middle of the road....she didn't have a license (obviously) and neither did her mom nor her brother....the entire wheel fell off, apparently her "friend" had been working on her axel....I had AAA, so Josh called me and we got a tow truck come pick it up....the tow truck man was really big and scary and completely destroyed the frame of her car pulling it onto the tow truck....oh well, I did my good deed for the year....totally just kidding....I figured I would want someone to come help me if I was in the same situation....although, I would never get into that situation....oh well.
Ok, so I think that's enough of an update....mostly things have been going well, expect that I have been completely exhausted................Oh yeah, I might get to go off roading this weekend with Cory....I really want to go cause I think it would be super exciting....I mean how often do you get the chance to go off roading? So yeah, that's all I have to say.....oh and HOOK EM HORNS!!! |
